Set in 1989, the film captures the ritual motions of the women in a family preparing for the wedding of 16-year-old Ayesah who has been betrothed to a man she barely knows. Getting Ready for a Week’s Shoot

I know I promised to post update with regards to our shooting activities for the week, or the entire month. But due to some restrictions, I have to re-schedule posting some pictures.

As I have said on my previous post, I am set to join a shoot for two films this year, one from ANC and the other for Bidadali House Production.

As of the moment I am set to go out of town, for a week’s shoot.  I am so fired up for this experience.

Up for “Ambisyon”

We are up to make two films early this year, and both for National and eventually International screening and as always, I am very much excited every time I get to shoot another film. Its like a pill that makes me want to take again… (lol)

Anyway, it’s a go for films this year, best welcome home gift from friends and fellow filmmakers :)

First off: I will be shooting with my Micromedia Team this end of the month for ANC’s AMBISYON 2010.

It is a nation that lives by its stories: housewives living through the eight pm soap opera, teenagers who toss meager allowances on movie tickets, the audience that shakes its head over the daily news. AmBisyon is about the dreams of a nation, the vision of a future in the context of a country locked in poverty. It is about hope, possibility, truth—through the lenses of those who tell its stories.
